Ah, the week has arrived. It seems like the days of rest (aka the weekend) are never long enough.
First things first, take a moment to close your eyes, take a deep breath, and slowly release a breath laced with gratitude. It is quite a blessing to be able to enjoy each day. It is a blessing no matter what we are faced with.
Before we kick off the week, take some time to meditate, transport and transform. Take a look at this picture of those kayaking in Zanzibar. Imagine that it is you on the ocean, looking through the clear water, enjoying the breeze, and the sights. Imagine that you are on the best vacation there is and you have all the time in the world to explore this beautiful place. Imagine how you would feel experiencing those things. Would you be filled with joy? Peace? Gratitude? Happiness? Yes? Wonderful!!!
Let those feelings wash over you and seep into your skin and being. Allow those feelings to continue with you throughout the week. As moments get shaky and test your patience or peace, go back to this place and feelings. Go as many times as you need. Be grateful of this ability and your present.
Gratitude is attitude.
