We must listen to our body + spirit when it is giving us signs to slow down. It is not possible to do EVERYTHING at once. Many activities that we are committed to (family, work, housekeeping, errands, volunteering, learning, etc.) requires quite a bit of energy. And lending that energy to all of those different areas quickly runs down the energy supply. How does one remedy that? They slow down. They step away from some things to provide the space to focus on certain things and heal. Maybe the space means reducing where your energy goes and focusing on a smaller amount of things. Maybe it means just focusing on yourself and family. Maybe it means just focusing on yourself. Whatever the answer may be, it can be found within. Don’t ignore it. Don’t allow yourself to deplete your energy resources without replenishing it. Don’t ignore yourself, Warrior.

Our life is ours to live. Take time to rest. Enjoy solitude as it allows us to regenerate ourselves.  Allow yourself the joys of life. The seemingly small and big moments are to be cherished. Celebrate life everyday!

Goals, Timelines, and Journeys – Wisdom Wednesday

Goals, Timelines and Journeys are things that apply and interconnect in our lives. It is not uncommon to have goals with timelines associated with them. In fact, we are often conditioned to have time frames for every thing that we do. While that is fine, we must not allow the timelines to be finite. We must leave room for adjustments. We must allow ourselves to factor in other things in our lives. We must allow ourselves the ability to change as we see fit. We must also adjust to the change that is presented to us as we go along our respective journeys. We must be open, Warrior.

Happy day, Warriors! It is very easy for us to fall into a zone of comfort without working to do something outside of what we’re used to. We must grow, stretch, challenge ourselves and become better. Dedicate yourself to allowing yourself the opportunity to take risks and grow.

It’s Wisdom Wednesday! This message that I share with you all is something that I have learned and continue to learn. As Warriors, we must be gentle with ourselves. We must be nurturing, loving, patient, kind, and forgiving. This is imperative for our growth as well as healing.

7 Things to Do on Earth Day

It’s EARTH DAY WARRIORS!!!! 

Clearly, I love it! Now, it is my personal opinion that Earth Day should be every day, but you know…Working on it. 

Anywho, as we all bask in the beauty that day brings (in whatever form that may be), I challenge you to think about what you can do for the Earth. Make this an action that connects you with the Earth. 

1. Plant Some Trees, Plants and/or Flowers 

2. Ground Yourself with the Earth! – Meditate in the grass. Bare feet to Earth. Exercise outside in the grass 

3. Listen To & Enjoy Nature (the wind, birds, etc)

4. Enjoy Nature – Talk a walk. Or a run. Play in the dirt. 

5. Waste Less – Do some research on how you can waste less and help the Earth. No action is too small.

6. Be Meatless + Dairy Free for the Day (if you aren’t already) – It takes a lot of resources to raise animals to provide meat and dairy. Collectively taking a break can make a difference.

7. Love the Earth – Remember​ that she provides you with beauty, air, life and all around greatness. Honor her. 

All in all, enjoy the day. Vibrate higher. Smile. Soak up the Sun. Love!
