The Universe is the ultimate balancer, protector and guide.
The Universe has a way of removing all that is not for us and maintaining/presenting what is for us. We must take the time to understand and be able to differentiate what we should hold onto versus what we should let go. There will come a time (countless times, actually) where one will realize that something seems “lost” to them – a friend, opportunity, job, significant other, etc. But, have you realized how things have improved for you going forward? Maybe that “great” opportunity have an even better one come after it. Perhaps you thought that you’d be happy with the job/house/car/situation/person/self if you were to do _____, but the Universe said otherwise.
Cheers to the morning! 2 ounces of juiced wheatgrass. I initially decided to try it for several reasons. 1) 2 oz of wheatgrass is equivalent to 4 pounds of green vegetables. 2) I was being spontaneous and wanted to try it. And 3) I wondered if it tasted as bad as it many have said.
Well…I don’t think it tastes bad. It simply tasted like concentrated spinach and chard.
The caveat to this is that as with many other herbs, roots, and vegetables (e.g. dandelion), wheatgrass detoxes the body. As it is a powerful substance, it is not uncommon to be a little nauseated after taking a wheatgrass shot for the first time. Keep this in mind if you decide to be adventurous as well.
All in all. I recommend it.
Hey! It’s #transporttuesday!!!! Sometimes, as a form a meditation, I mentally take a vacation to different beautiful places in the world. Today’s vacation was the island of Seychelles on the West Coast of Africa. I imagine the wonderful breeze, warm water, the sun, the trees dancing in this breeze, the fresh fruit. All of the goodness! Where are you mentally transporting today?
Very often, you hear everyone “counting down until the weekend.” Less and less, you hear people rejoicing in each day. It has become our culture to live for the weekend and discount the rest of the days. If one only lives for the weekend, are they only living for 2 days four times a month? 8 days. Only 96 days out of the entire year. What about this rest of the days that you’ve been given?

It is that wonderful time of the month where we have been blessed with the Full Moon.
Oh, how the Moon is bright and lovely this evening. This month, the moon is in Gemini while the Sun is in Sagittarius. You may feel anxious, on edge, and/or frustrated. There is this feeling that may embody you that you can not explain and may not fully understand. You just feel that change.
Stop what you’re doing. Tune into your inner being. Reflect on where you used to be. Realize how much you’ve grown since that time. Yes, you’re not where you want to be, but that’s okay. You’ve been traveling an interesting journey. Your path to your greatness is for you to walk. For you to enjoy. Yes, you’ll stumble. Yes, you may have to crawl rather than walk. But keep going. You’ll get there. Look back from time to time to remind yourself that even on the days when it seemed like you couldn’t take one more step, you did. The days when it felt like progress wasn’t made, it was.
As you prepare your mind and spirit for the new week, keep this in mind. What matters is how you feel about yourself, how you treat others, how you give back and how you show the Universe your appreciation but putting out positive energy.
